  • 1987: Foundation
        The company MASID was founded in 1987 in Dreieich.
  •  1990: Restructuring
         The company MASID was divided into the two companies Masid Gesellschaft für  
         angewandte Umweltforschung [Association for Applied Environmental Research] and
         Masid Umwelterhaltende Produkte Vertriebs GmbH [Environmentally Friendly
         Product Sales] . The Masid Gesellschaft für angewandte Umweltforschung OHG is a
         developer and licensing company of the internationally patented process described below and
         the resulting products.
         In contrast, Masid Umwelterhaltende Produkte Vertriebs GmbH is responsible for the   
         worldwide distribution of the products.

  • 1991: Environmental Award
        Innovations are an essential part of successful economic development. MBG Mittelständische 
        Beteiligungsgesellschaft Hessen GmbH has announced that they are awarding this prize in
        order to encourage innovation, which is awarded annually under the patronage of the Hessian
        Minister of Economics, Transport and Technology.

Dreieich received the Hessian Innovation Award of the MBG 1990/91 - the anniversary award- for the project HM 1 - non-toxic wood preservative the anniversary award
