WOOD-BLISS 1 is a solvent-free, water-dilutable wood preservative protected against fire and termites based on renewable raw materials.

Ingredients

WOOD-BLISS 1 consists of mineral and vegetable substances such as: potassium bicarbonate, silica, cellulose, xylose and water.

New mode of action

The nutrients sought by the insect pests are extracted from the wood up to their depth of penetration. At the same time, the wood is made unrecognisable, meaning that the insect pests can no longer recognise the wood as a source of food after treatment. Its special immediate insect control effect is that WOOD-BLISS 1 fills the feeding passages and immobilizes the insects when they come into contact with it.

Intended use

• To protect the wood against: insect infestation, fungal infestation, termites, fire. (International test certificates)

• The treated wood from fire spreading and smoke development in the event of fire

• Immediate effect in cases where insect and fungal infestation have already occurred

• Barrier effect against pollutant-releasing wood materials. Emissions of toxic classified biocides such as lindane - PCP from wood components - can be reduced by using WOOD-BLISS 1. After 30 days and two applications of WOOD-BLISS 1, reductions in pollutant emissions of approx. 50% for lindane and DDT, as well as approx. 70% for PCP, are detectable.
